A graduate of New York School of Interior Design, Kate worked for top interior design firms across the country before establishing Kate Ives Design in 2017. Prior to starting to her firm, Kate developed her editorial eye at the offices of Architectural Digest. In 2024, Kate was recognized on Frederic Magazine’s “It List” as one of the globes top new design talents.

Kate creates spaces with restrained elegance and timeless aesthetics, concentrating on architectural elements and specific needs of each individual client.

Kates ability to execute both warm and sophisticated environments rooted in traditional design has earned her a loyal client base along the East Coast. She lives in New York with her husband, two sons and dog.
